After playing in a variety of “specialty” bands such as; Abilene(country), Underfire(80‘s), Funky Shoes(blues), Southern Cross(country), Sundance Kids(country) and Alter Ego(rock) they needed a change. They wanted a band that could play a variety of danceable music so, that’s when they put Gypsy Road together. After some changes in the last several years they have settled into the current lineup; lead guitarist, singer/songwriter and the  most entertaining front man around, Brian Dennison, drummer Brian “Tigg” Vicary, Mel & Darrell . Brian has been in some of Central Illinois' most popular bands such as Bonzai, Tru-Dat and The Chillbillys. Tigg was in Bonzai and Casual Man in Illinois and played in Florida with Crazy Otto a Dead tribute band.
